Soil quality and pH value are crucial for the healthy growth of plants. The pH value significantly influences the availability of nutrients. The waterproof soil pH meter from PCE Instruments with an external measuring electrode is excellent for determining the pH value and thus the quality of the soil.

To determine the pH value, the electrode can be easily inserted into the soil. It is advisable to lightly loosen the moist soil before each measurement. Generally, it is sufficient to insert the electrode into the ground and read the pH value directly from the digital display.

The soil pH meter also allows for determining the pH value of a solution made from a soil sample and distilled water. This is useful, for example, for measurements according to DIN standards or in particularly compacted soil. Whenever the electrode cannot penetrate deep enough into the soil to perform an accurate measurement, the user should prepare a solution.

The waterproof soil pH meter with a special external measuring electrode is designed for precise pH value detection and is particularly distinguished by its high accuracy. The measurement range of the soil pH meter is from 0.00 to 14.00 pH. Thanks to the large digital display, the measured values are easy to read. To make reading the measurement results even more convenient, the display of the soil pH meter can be rotated at the push of a button.

The practical data hold function of the soil pH meter allows for the storage of recorded values. To conserve battery life, the soil pH meter features an automatic shut-off: the measuring device turns off after ten minutes of inactivity.
