The PCE-430 Class 1 sound level meter meets all requirements for noise measurement and frequency analysis. This integrating precision impulse sound level meter complies with all valid standards and guidelines (Class 1 EN/IEC 61672, ANSI S1.4-1983, ANSI S1.43-1997, EN/IEC61260, etc.).

The PCE-430 sound level meter features a very large illuminated display that shows the sound pressure level both numerically and graphically in real-time. This professional sound level meter has a built-in data logger that stores measurement data on a micro-SD card. This card can be read directly on a PC. Additionally, the sound level meter can be connected to a PC via USB to access the stored data.

The post-processing software of the sound level meter allows for convenient analysis of measurement data. Typical applications for this device include measuring workplace noise, compliance with regulations, environmental noise assessment, selection of hearing protection and suitable noise control measures, as well as estimating noise exposure.

The impulse function of the PCE-430 allows for capturing short-term sound events. The integrated octave band function can detect even the smallest differences in frequency bands. The frequency filter is optionally upgradeable. The measurement range of this professional sound level meter extends from 22 to 136 dB(A) at a frequency of 3 Hz to 20 kHz.
