With this portable Bluetooth material testing device, roughness measurements of various surfaces can be conducted quickly and accurately. The material testing device is placed on the surface to be tested using Bluetooth. The positioning device allows the material testing device to be aligned on different surfaces. A measurement with the Bluetooth material testing device can be performed at the push of a button. After the measurement is taken, the result is displayed on the screen of the Bluetooth material testing device. A trend chart of the surface is also shown on the display. When measuring surface roughness, various measurement parameters provide insights into the roughness of the surface, such as the maximum roughness depth, the average roughness depth, and many other measurement parameters. These can be viewed in the data storage of the Bluetooth material testing device after a measurement is completed. After each roughness measurement, the recorded values are stored in the material testing device, allowing for up to 20 measurement sequences to be saved. To further process or analyze these, the Bluetooth material testing device can be connected to a PC via the Micro-USB interface and read, analyzed, and processed using the free software available on the download portal. This material testing device features a Bluetooth interface, enabling a direct connection to an Android device. This offers several advantages, such as the ability to display and analyze the stored data directly on the Android device. Additionally, the measured values from the Bluetooth material testing device can be exported and forwarded from the mobile device.
