Mechanical durometer for measuring the hardness of soft elastomers, featuring a pointer for better readability of the peak value. The durometer is used to measure the surface hardness (Shore A) of soft rubber and very soft plastics. It consists of a measuring part with a measuring head and a glare-free 360° dial. For improved readability of the peak value, this hardness tester has not only a pure measuring needle but also a pointer that remains at the maximum value after the measurement is completed. After reading, it can be reset to the zero position. With the model PCE-DX-AS (A), you will always obtain hardness measurement results with the highest accuracy and repeatability.
