PCE Instruments PCE-CT 29 Coating thickness gauge 0 - 2000 µm

The thickness gauge has a measurement range of 0 to 2000 µm. It can measure the thickness of coatings on ferrous (Fe) and non-ferrous (NFe) metals. For improved analysis of the measurements, the thickness gauge features a measurement function aligned with SSPC standards. This function allows for the verification of the corrosion protection of a coating. The group function enables the direct storage of measurement values on the thickness gauge, with a memory capacity for 50 groups, each containing 50 measurements. A statistic for all measurement values is created within each group. All measurement data and statistics can be retrieved after a measurement run. For further analysis, the thickness gauge can be connected to a PC via a Micro-USB interface. The software allows for the transfer of measurement data to a PC. Additionally, live measurements can be conducted using the software. For further processing, the measurement values can be exported in CSV and XLS formats. Besides measuring thickness, the gauge can also measure the temperature and humidity of the environment, helping to determine if the climatic conditions are suitable for further processing of the coating. With the V-groove, the thickness of materials such as pipes can also be determined. Optionally, the thickness gauge can be equipped with an ISO calibration certificate.
