With the Agrar measuring device, you get a measuring device for fast and accurate determination of the refractive index nD between 1.300 and 1.700. The Agrar measuring device also measures the sugar content of translucent liquids, dispersions, emulsions or other substances. The refractive index can be determined for a temperature range of 0 to +70 °C using the thermometer supplied. For temperature control of the device, adapters for water hoses are attached to the upper and lower prism holders on both sides of the agricultural measuring device, which allow temperature control using an external thermostat. For example, you can use this agricultural measuring device to accurately determine the sugar content in the range 0 - 95 % (1.333 . 1.531). However, the range of applications is much wider: measurement and analysis of fats, oils, paints, varnishes, foodstuffs, chemical substances, alcohol and solvents.
