Surface testing device PCE-RT 10 for measuring surface roughness / measurement parameters Ra and Rz / illuminated LC display / diamond sensor / RS232C interface. The PCE-RT 10 surface testing device is compact, lightweight, and easy to use. With the integrated diamond sensor, the device measures the average roughness Ra as well as the average roughness depth Rz. To perform the measurement, the device is placed on the surface to be tested, and the integrated diamond sensor moves smoothly across it to scan the surface. The measurement values are determined based on the displacement of the sensor during the measurement, which is measured via induction. The measurement results are displayed on the large LC display of the surface testing device. The integrated RS232C interface allows the device to be connected to a PC. A corresponding interface cable with PC software is available as an accessory. The surface testing device meets the requirements for roughness measurement according to the common ISO, DIN, ANSI, and JIS standards.
