The fine dust measuring device can measure both particle and mass concentration. It is used wherever there may be a potential health risk from fine dust. This includes pollution from combustion, manufacturing, energy production, vehicle emissions, and pollution generated by the construction industry. In addition to particle counting, the fine dust measuring device also offers the capability to determine mass concentration. Thus, in addition to PM2.5 and PM10, particle sizes of 0.3, 0.5, 1.0, 2.5, 5.0, and 10 µm can also be measured. Additionally, the fine dust measuring device has sensors for temperature and relative humidity. On the back of the device, there is a camera that can link measurement data with image and video material. Particularly in areas with high traffic, there can be a high level of air pollution. A fine dust measuring device can help reveal these pollution levels. In places with increased pollution of the breathing air, there may be an elevated risk of respiratory diseases.
