Robust flow meter for permanent installation with a 4-20 mA output for wind warning systems, building services, and building automation. The flow meter is designed to measure wind direction in industrial environments. It can be connected to data loggers, process control systems, and displays. A 4-20 mA signal is available as the output. The device has no dead point in the north and measures wind direction from 0 to 360 degrees. To protect the flow meter from external weather influences, it is rated IP65. A 20 m cable is included to connect the device to an evaluation unit. The flow meter can be used for irrigation control, automation in greenhouses, solar trackers, cable cars in ski areas, cranes, wind turbines, weather stations, and anywhere precise observation of wind or wind direction is required.
