The accelerometer is an ideal measuring instrument for the quick and precise inspection of vibrating parts, machines, and systems. This accelerometer determines the vibration displacement (measurement range 0.000 - 3.9 mm), vibration velocity (measurement range 0.00 - 399.9 mm/s), and vibration acceleration (measurement range 0.0 - 399.9 m/s²) using an external vibration sensor. Various measurement parameters are available with the accelerometer, such as RMS, peak, peak-to-peak, and crest factor. The accelerometer is equipped with a mode that allows for automatic evaluation of measurements according to the limits of ISO 10816-3. It analyzes the measurement values and displays a corresponding pass-fail assessment on the screen. The built-in battery has a capacity of 2500 mAh and can be recharged directly via the integrated Micro-USB interface. In addition to the normal measurement mode, the accelerometer features an FFT mode. In FFT mode, the frequency spectrum for the measured vibration velocity or acceleration is calculated and displayed. The calculated FFT lines are shown in a graphical representation for the entire frequency range, along with a zoom view for displaying individual lines. An additional function is route measurement, specifically designed for recurring measurements at identical measurement points, enabling an organized measurement of various points. Therefore, the FFT vibration meter is utilized for its extensive measurement functions in the maintenance and repair of machines. The internal memory allows for the storage of displayed measurement data from various measurement functions.
