Product details

Solar module tester with a measurement range of 0 - 12 A DC, USB interface, data storage for 100 measured characteristic curves, 4.8-inch LC display, battery operation for approximately 400 measurements, optionally with ISO calibration certificate. The solar module tester is a useful tool for examining solar cells for their characteristic curves. With a DC voltage range of 0 - 60 V and a DC current range of 0 - 12 A, the solar module tester covers a wide range of solar modules. The determined characteristic curves are stored directly on the solar module tester. Up to 100 measurements can be stored in the data memory. The stored measurement values can then be read and processed on a PC with the corresponding software. Additionally, there is the option to operate the solar module tester entirely through the software.

For determining the characteristic curves of a solar module, two different measurement functions are available. In automatic mode, the characteristic curve is created with automatic parameters, giving the operator a first impression of the condition of the solar module. In manual mode, the starting and ending current values can be set. If the area of the solar module and the power of the incoming radiation in W/m² are entered, the solar module tester can calculate the efficiency and fill factor of the cell. Another measurement function is the single-point measurement, where a specific current can be targeted and checked. The LC display has a size of 4.8 inches, allowing the characteristic curve and all measurement values to be read simultaneously. To better analyze the characteristic curve, each individual measurement point can be accessed.
