This comprehensive turning tool set with brazed carbide plates covers various turning operations such as longitudinal and flat turning, parting, grooving, internal turning, and more. Therefore, this turning chisel set is excellent as a starter kit. The package includes six different chisels for longitudinal turning, one chisel for flat turning and chamfering, one turning tool for parting and grooving, two boring bars for internal turning, and one chisel for grooving. The cutting and clearance surfaces of the turning tools in this set are already pre-ground. To achieve optimal turning results, the chip-breaking steps need to be ground. Once the edges of a chisel are worn, they must be sharpened. A diamond grinding wheel is recommended for this purpose.
