The aluminum vise protective jaws have a width of 125 mm and a jaw height of 28 mm. The felt lining allows sensitive workpieces to be clamped in a vise without causing damage. The felt lining of the protective jaws largely conforms to the contour of the workpiece. Each protective jaw has two magnets on the inside, preventing them from falling off during clamping or releasing the workpiece. These protective jaws are designed to protect a workpiece that is clamped in a vise. To fulfill this function, these protective jaws must be made of a very soft material (aluminum). Due to the soft material, this product may already show tiny scratches in new condition, without this being considered a defect.
