An integrated thread at the centering tip pulls the drill into the wood, reducing the amount of pressure needed while drilling. The included pilot cutter ensures a clean and tear-free edge even at low speeds, while the snake drill also features excellent chip removal. The snake drill is suitable for drilling through holes in beams and rafters as well as for creating deep blind holes. A taper from 1:50 to 1:100 towards the shank is designed to prevent jamming in the hole. The set is delivered in a practical wooden box.
