This precision beam compass made of alloy steel is extremely stable. The two adjustable runners can be fixed in position using knurled locking screws on the rail, which is marked with a measurement scale. The precision beam compass can be adjusted with an accuracy of 0.05 mm through fine adjustment. With this compass, measurements up to 300 mm can be transferred, or circles or arcs with a radius of 16 to 300 mm can be scribed. The screwed tips are made of ball bearing steel and have a hardness of 50 HRC.
