This set of art drills, equipped with carbide tips in cabinetmaker quality, includes 13 professional Forstner bits with diameters ranging from 15 to 50 mm. The bits with diameters from 15 to 30 mm have a shank diameter of 8 mm, while the bits with diameters from 35 to 50 mm feature a shank diameter of 10 mm. The cutting edges are made of high-quality tungsten carbide, allowing for a very long service life. The centering point enables the bits to be used not only in a drill press or column drill but also excellently with a handheld drill. The two peripheral cutting edges ensure a clean, precise bore that does not splinter or tear at the edges. The design allows for very fast chip removal, reducing heat buildup when drilling wood. The bits in this set are suitable for hardwood, softwood, exotic woods, laminated and plastic-coated wood panels, and more. For organized and proper storage, the Forstner bits are delivered in an aluminum case with a foam insert.
