This hand tap set consists of a starter tap, a middle tap, and a finishing tap. The starter tap is marked with a ring on the shank, the middle tap has two rings, and the finishing tap has no ring. This set is used for creating metric ISO standard threads. The taps are made of HSS and are coated with titanium nitride (TiN) to increase their service life. At the end of the cylindrical shank, there is a square for fitting into a tap wrench. The taps are manufactured according to DIN 352 and comply with the tolerance class h6.
