Product details

This turning insert with the standard designation SCLCR1414H09 has a shank measuring 14 x 14 mm and an overall length of 101 mm. The cutting plate is made of sintered carbide. The high temperature resistance of carbide allows for higher cutting speeds compared to HSS inserts. Additionally, this plate is coated with titanium nitride, which contributes to increased heat resistance and tool life. TiN-coated cutting plates are designed for universal use, meaning they can process both soft materials and hard workpieces. For specific applications, this carbide insert can be replaced with another cutting plate that is suitable for the material being processed. You can find these special indexable cutting plates in our range. Standard plates can also be reordered individually or in sets of 10.
