This aluminum drill press vise is particularly distinguished by its quick adjustment feature. A push button with a return spring allows the spindle to be disengaged, enabling the movable jaw to be quickly and infinitely pre-set across the entire clamping range. An embossed length scale on the support surfaces of the jaw facilitates this pre-setting. Once the desired position is reached, the spindle is re-engaged by releasing the push button. In this position, the movable jaw can be operated as usual using the handle. The handle is designed as a hexagonal shaft, providing a good grip. Since the vise is made of aluminum, it is suitable for small or light drilling tasks. Using the side elongated holes, the vise can be mounted on a machine table.
