The gas detector is suitable for monitoring gas leaks, e.g. in caravans. It is equipped with a cable connection as a power source. The detector has an OLED screen that displays the gas concentration in real time. It can monitor a concentration of 0 to 20 % LEL. As soon as a gas leak of more than 5 % LEL is detected, the detector triggers a loud alarm at 85 dB, accompanied by a flashing light to attract immediate attention. The gas detector is specifically designed to detect flammable gases such as natural gas (mainly methane), liquefied gas (mainly butane, propane) and urban coal gas (alkanes, olefin, arene). It provides protection against possible explosions. The gas detector is made of steel grid material and a flame-retardant plastic housing. The detector can be powered via USB and has an energy-saving sleep mode to provide a spare battery in standby mode.
