Oerlikon Wire

The Oerlikon welding wire is a high-quality solid wire electrode specifically designed for MAG welding of unalloyed and low-alloy steels as well as cast steel up to a yield strength of 420 N/mm². With its MHC surface (Metallic Hybrid Coating), this wire offers excellent feedability and stable arc guidance, even under high current loads. It is suitable for use with CO2 as well as Ar/CO2 or Ar/CO2/O2 mixed gases and ensures good cold toughness down to -30°C. The material transfer occurs with minimal spatter in short-circuit and spray arcs, which improves the quality of the weld seams. Additionally, the wire is coated with a special copper alloy that enhances performance and durability.
