Oerlikon Wire

The Oerlikon welding wire is a high-quality solid wire electrode specifically designed for MAG welding of unalloyed and low-alloy steels as well as cast steel with a yield strength of up to 420 N/mm². The innovative MHC surface (Metallic Hybrid Coating) ensures excellent feeding properties and stable arc guidance, even under high current loads. This wire is suitable for CO2 as well as Ar/CO2 or Ar/CO2/O2 mixed gases and offers good cold toughness down to -30°C. The material transition is low in spatter, which improves welding quality. Additionally, the wire is coated with a special copper alloy that enhances performance and durability.
