Oerlikon Spezial Medium

The Oerlikon special stick electrodes are an alkaline-coated double-sheathed electrode with non-basic components and offer exceptional welding properties for unalloyed and low-alloy steels. Thanks to the special composition of the coating in the double sheath, this electrode guarantees an extremely directionally stable arc that delivers the best results even in difficult conditions such as root welds and constrained positions. The glassy slag on the finely scaled weld seams can be easily removed, which considerably simplifies the welding process.

The special electrode has been a proven choice for decades in steel construction, as well as in manufacturing and assembly in industry, trade and pipeline construction. With excellent cold toughness down to -30 °C and X-ray safety, this electrode has established itself in the most demanding applications.
