The MCF30-NAR combined lightning arrester Type 1+2 for lightning protection potential equalization according to VDE 0185-305 (IEC 62305) is suitable for use in the pre-meter area according to VDE-AR-N 4100. The application area of the MCF30-NAR includes buildings with overhead line supply in TN-S and TT systems. Installation is carried out on 40 mm busbars in the network-side connection area. The protection level of 1.5 kV protects the end devices in the system. The lightning current discharge capacity is 30 kA (10/350) total and 7.5 kA (10/350) per pole, follow current extinguishing up to 50 kA with a maximum pre-fuse of 160 A gL/gG.
