Infrared motion sensor with adjustable brightness (5 - 1000 Lux) and on-time duration (8 sec. - 7 min.). Operating temperature: 0 °C to 45 °C. The switching capacity is: for incandescent lamps max. 1000 watts, energy-saving lamps max. 100 watts, LED lamps max. 100 watts. Relevant movements are detected using a PIR sensor. The sensor with PIR technology - PIR stands for passive infrared - responds to minimal local temperature changes, which it perceives as infrared light with a specific wavelength. This allows it to register people, vehicles, and animals entering the detection area while ignoring swirling leaves or moving branches. It also does not take into account fluctuations in general temperature, such as those caused by sunlight. In this way, the motion detector avoids false triggers and ensures reliable detection of relevant objects.
