It detects on a horizontal plane with an opening angle of 5 degrees, which prevents the detection of smaller animals. The installation is particularly suited for entrance areas, hallways, stairwells, restrooms, garages, and more. The dimensions are designed for installation in a standard flush-mounted box. Integrated manual switch. The hidden and barely visible manual switch located at the top of the housing is a unique feature of this sensor. The standard light switch function On/Off as well as the automatic function can be set with the manual switch. Relevant movements are detected using a PIR sensor. The sensor with PIR technology - PIR stands for passive infrared - responds to minimal local temperature changes, which it perceives as infrared light with a specific wavelength. This allows it to register people, vehicles, and animals entering the detection area while ignoring swirling leaves or moving branches.
