Product details

MaxxStep stair module for rung ladders, width 493 mm.

This module widens the step surface to make standing more comfortable and less tiring, transforming rung ladders into a TRBS 2121 compliant workplace. It is suitable for rung ladders made by Günzburger Steigtechnik.

The stricter version of TRBS 2121 Part 2, in force since early 2019, explicitly requires steps instead of rungs when ladders are used as a workplace rather than for ascent. However, you do not need to stop working on rung ladders. The MaxxStep stair module can be fitted without tools, allowing almost all rung ladders made by Günzburger Steigtechnik to be converted into a TRBS compliant workplace. Simply attach a suitable step to the required rung and fasten it in place using double clamp screws, which ensure a high degree of stability. A safety mechanism guarantees a fixed connection to this innovative product from Günzburger's workshop.

The most practical feature of the MaxxStep is its ease of movement up the ladder and the ability to vary its position to reach different working heights. The step module can be used on various rung ladders and can be equipped with anti-slip clip-step tread covers.
