MSW Brake Line Flaring Tool

Currently out of stock

Product details

The effective flaring tool for timing chains in Mercedes diesel engines. One of the most important components in a car is the brake lines. With the flaring tool, you can repair or renew brake lines by precisely flaring the ends to fit connection pieces. The hydraulic flaring tool deforms the end of a pipe, in this case, brake or hydraulic lines, to securely fasten nuts for connecting the lines.

The clamping jaws and pressure pieces are designed to deform brake lines with diameters of 4.75 and 6 mm, creating DIN-compliant convex flares and double flares according to SAE standards. Thanks to the hydraulic clamping devices and the high-quality material of the tool parts, even steel lines can be flared effortlessly.

The operation of the clamping device for the clamping jaws and pressure pieces is particularly straightforward and can also be implemented directly on the vehicle. The shapes allow for deformations at a 45° angle, which are required for some nuts. The 15-piece set is delivered in a plastic case that can be conveniently transported with a handle.

Technical details:

  • Convex flares: DIN ¼" (6.35 mm), DIN 3/16" (4.75 mm), and SAE 3/16"
  • Double flares: SAE 3/16" and 1/4"
  • Single flares: (not for vehicle lines) 45° (DIN and SAE)

Scope of delivery:
Flaring tool for brake lines MSW-HFT-01: base body (holder for clamping jaws), deburring tool, counter-pressure plate, hydraulic spindle, rotary handle for spindle/clamping screw, 3 pairs of clamping jaws, 5 pressure pieces, plastic case, operating instructions.
