This multi-point locking system features a door handle on both sides. The closed door can be opened from the inside using the panic function (opening outward) in the lock. The square (socket) is split for the panic function. After the handle is operated from the inside, the door can also be opened from the outside, meaning the handle is coupled on the outside and rescue measures are not hindered. With this function, to prevent the door from being opened from the outside, a locking mechanism with the key must be applied in any case. A turn of the key in the locking direction will extend the bolt and block the locking pins. Opening process: by turning the key in the opening direction, the main bolt is retracted, causing the locking pins to become spring-loaded.
