These mortise locks feature a door handle, panic door fitting, or push bar on the inside of the door. There is also a door handle on the outside. When locked, the door cannot be opened from the outside, but can always be opened from the inside using the door handle, panic door fitting, or push bar (panic function). The square (socket) is divided at the panic function D. After a handle operation from the inside, the door can also be opened from the outside, meaning the handle is coupled on the outside and rescue measures are not hindered. To prevent the door from being opened from the outside, a locking with the key must be performed in any case.
