NAC Cookware Series. A tribute to the founder of the Danish foundry Morsø: Niels Andreas Christensen recognized the value of robust, double-enamelled cast iron as cookware as early as 1853, which can still be used on all types of stoves today – from traditional hot plates to ceramic glass and induction. Cast iron withstands high heat for searing, retains and distributes heat evenly for braising, and enhances the interplay of flavors in roasted or braised dishes. Provided the cookware is regularly oiled and cleaned only with warm water and a soft sponge, never with dish soap. Furthermore, the cookware designed by Klaus Rath for Morsø looks so good on the dining table that the often tedious task of transferring food is eliminated. NAC Frying Pan. The pan comes in a classic flat round shape with a smooth bottom. The heat-insulated handle made of oak wood makes it easier to handle the hot frying pan, although a heavy cast iron pan should always be lifted off the stove and never pushed.
