The MF5 is a lightweight, compact detector designed for operator comfort and user-friendliness. It is suitable for non-governmental organizations and military mine clearance.

The MF5 detects metallic and conductive targets, including thin wires and carbon rods. It provides indications of ferrous and non-ferrous targets as well as carbon rods and thin wires. The detector can locate targets in all soil types and regardless of their mineralization content, and it can also operate in environments with strong electrical interference.

The MF5 features simple and intuitive controls, including:

  • Three sensor modes: Detection mode, Query mode, and Pinpoint mode.
  • Provision of a tactical mode that can be selected at any time during startup or operation.
  • Selectable target alert responses: Audio, visual (LED), and vibration.
