The Metz Connect 1501191H04HC is a compact and versatile fiber optic connection unit designed for installation in flush-mounted or hollow wall boxes as well as for surface-mounted or rail-mounted applications. This unit is equipped with couplings that feature a laser shutter, allowing for splicing with FITH cables that have single-mode fibers. The pigtails are fitted with OS2 type single-mode fiber (E9/125 µm) and comply with standards IEC 60793-2-50 B.1.3 and B.6_a. The design is made to be bend insensitive and meets the requirements of ITU-T G.657.A1 and ITU-T G.652.D. The connection unit offers flexible cable entry options and is equipped with integrated clips for easy rail mounting. The tool-free removable cover and the swiveling splice cassette for up to 8 crimp splice protectors enhance user-friendliness and maintenance convenience.
