It is suitable for slotting grooves up to 30 mm wide without center in a single operation (with special accessory) and can also cut with just one diamond cutting disc. The Metabo S-automatic safety clutch provides mechanical decoupling of the drive for safe operation if the disc stops unexpectedly. The adjustable cutting depth ranges from 10 to 40 mm (3/8 to 1 9/16 inches), with possible groove widths of 9 mm, 15.5 mm, 22 mm, 28.5 mm, and 35 mm (3/8", 5/8", 7/8", 1 1/8", 1 3/8").
