The Metabo Marathon motor offers a longer lifespan and more power, with patented dust protection, up to 20% higher overload capacity, and 50% more torque. The Vario-Tacho-Constamatic (VTC) full-wave electronics with a setting wheel allows for operation at material-specific speeds that remain constant under load. Enjoy tool-free, quick disc changes at the push of a button with the Metabo M-Quick system. The protective cover is adjustable without tools and can be fixed without twisting. It also includes a low-vibration additional handle, Metabo VibraTech (MVT). The Metabo S-automatic mechanical safety clutch minimizes kickback when the disc jams to the lowest level on the market, ensuring maximum user protection and a quick return to work. Additional features include electronic overload protection, soft start, and restart protection. The gearbox housing can be mounted in 90° increments for left-handed operation or cutting.
