The electronic safety shut-off reduces kickback when the disc gets jammed, ensuring high user protection. The reduced vibrations enable fatigue-free working, thanks to the Metabo VibraTech damping system and the integrated auto-balancer. The main handle is rotatable, and an additional handle can be mounted in three positions to ensure optimal grip positioning, even when cutting. Metabo Quick allows for tool-free disc changes with a quick-clamping nut. The tool-free adjustable guard can be fixed without twisting. A starting current limiter with soft start prevents the circuit breaker from tripping during startup. Electronic overload protection and restart protection are also included. The Metabo safety switch prevents accidental activation, and the shut-off carbon brushes protect the motor.
