The maximum working speed is achieved through a powerful motor, constant speed, and a two-stage high-performance gearbox. The robust aluminum die-cast cover features rubber rollers and an optimal grip position for comfortable machine guidance. The push-cut design allows for optimal visibility of the marking line. Both the channel width and cutting depth are adjustable. The Metabo Marathon motor includes a patented dust protection for a long service life. The Tacho-Constamatic (TC) full-wave electronics ensure fast work progress with constant speed under load. The electronic soft start and restart protection guarantee safe working conditions. An LED signal informs the user about overload or active restart protection. Clean, low-dust working is facilitated by connecting a Metabo universal vacuum cleaner. The tool is suitable for cutting grooves up to 30 mm wide without a center in one operation (with special accessories) and can also cut with just one diamond cutting disc. The Metabo S-automatic safety coupling provides mechanical decoupling of the drive for safe operation in case the disc unexpectedly stops.
