Ideal for electrical installations for laying cables and pipes under plaster with cutting depths of up to 40 mm. The maximum working speed is achieved through a powerful motor, constant speed, and a two-stage high-performance gearbox. The robust die-cast aluminum cover features rubber rollers and an optimal grip arrangement for comfortable machine handling. A sliding cut allows for optimal visibility of the marking line, while the groove width and cutting depth are adjustable.

The Metabo Marathon motor is equipped with patented dust protection for a long service life. The Tacho-Constamatic (TC) full-wave electronics ensure high work progress through constant speed under load. An electronic soft start and a restart protection enhance safety during operation. An LED signal informs the user of overload or active restart protection.

For clean, dust-free work, a Metabo all-purpose vacuum cleaner can be connected. The tool is suitable for cutting grooves up to 30 mm wide without a center bridge in one operation (with special accessories). It can also cut with just one diamond cutting disc. The Metabo S-automatic safety coupling ensures mechanical decoupling of the drive in case of a disc blockage for safe operation.
