New, patent-pending Metabo Marathon motor with up to 50% more torque and up to 20% higher overload capacity for faster material removal and a longer service life. Tacho-Constamatic (TC) full-shaft electronics provide high work progress due to constant speed under load. Metabo Quick allows for tool-free disc change with a quick-clamping nut. The tool-free adjustable protective hood can be fixed without twisting. The additional handle Metabo VibraTech (MVT) offers vibration damping to protect health. The paddle switch with dead man function ensures safe handling due to the ergonomically integrated switch with anti-slip structure. The fastest braking system provides maximum user protection: a patented mechanical disc brake stops the disc within 2 seconds after switching off, even in the event of a power failure. The electronic safety cut-out reduces kick-back when the disc is blocked for high user protection. It also features electronic overload protection, soft start, and restart protection. The gear housing can be mounted rotated in 90° steps for left-handed operation or for cutting off. Shut-off carbon brushes protect the motor. A carabiner attachment is included for safe transport.
