Product details
MDT technologies binary input 16-fold 8TE BE-16000.02 is a binary input device designed for potential-free connections. It features a width of 8 pitch units and includes a bus coupling. This device supports the KNX bus system but does not support KNX radio, radio bus, LON, or Powernet systems. It has 16 inputs with a pulsed input voltage type and an IP20 protection class.
The binary input allows for the connection of potential-free contacts, with an LED display for each channel and a maximum cable length of 100 meters. It is suitable for connecting push buttons, switches, and window contacts. The device includes a new multi-tap function that can send up to 4 values or DPTs to the same or different objects, as well as innovative group control with long or extra-long keystrokes.
Additionally, it features 4 integrated logic modules for input evaluation, allowing for normally open or normally closed operation and the ability to send the contact state. It supports dimmer and shutter functions for one- and two-button operation, scene settings, and blocking objects for each channel. The pushbutton operation can handle short or long button presses and two objects. It also includes pulse and switch counters with extensive functions, suitable for 30ms S0 pulses. The device can cyclically send data and send after a reset, with an internally generated 12V contact voltage.
