Even overhead work can be easily handled with the user-friendly telescopic shaft. Additionally, a screw-on extension is available as special equipment. The front protective cover on the sanding head of the DSL800ZX can be easily removed without tools, allowing for sanding close to edges and in corners. The soft start function enables the sander to start smoothly without jolting. Thanks to the AWS function, the cordless long-neck sander communicates via Bluetooth directly with the paired AWS-compatible Makita vacuum cleaner and automatically starts the vacuum when the machine is turned on. It doesn't get more convenient than this. If you don't have a Bluetooth-capable vacuum cleaner yet, you can use the included wireless adapter WUT02U. This is simply plugged into the existing socket of an automatic electric vacuum cleaner, and the adapter will communicate with the paired cordless sander. XPT (Extreme Protection Technology) protects the machine's housing against dust and splash water, even under tough job site conditions.
