Design: Featuring expansive, carbide-tipped measuring jaws. Suitable for measuring the diameter of narrow approaches, centering edges, steps on shafts, indentation distances, and tooth spacing WK to determine tooth thickness on spur and helical gears. Sturdy, forged steel frame with thermal insulation. Anvil and counter gauge made of stainless, hardened steel. Anvil is spring-mounted and retractable via lever for easy workpiece insertion. Counter gauge adjustable over the measuring range via rack and pinion and knurled screw. Adjustment via end measures. Adjustable centering stop for setting to the workpiece center. Constant measuring force provided by a built-in measuring force spring. Usable with all display devices (not included in price) with an 8 mm clamping shank. Preferred are dial indicators No. 434674 sizes 25/0.5 and 50/1. Tolerance deviations of the workpiece can be read numerically on the display device.
