The Maclean MC969 detector is a very useful device for anyone searching for metal objects. It allows you to locate both small metal coins and steel beams in the ground or walls. The precision of the readings is ensured by a highly sensitive analog gauge.
Four operating modes:
- Discrimination: the ability to distinguish between types of metals, determining whether the detector can differentiate between types of iron alloys and non-ferrous metals.
- All Metal: for searching for all types of metal objects; in this mode, the device features an automatic ground balancing function.
- Target: When you discover a metal object, you can use the Target mode to determine the exact position of the object.
- Tone: in this mode, the device distinguishes different metal objects based on a high or low tone.
Our detector comes with an arm holder and an adjustable probe arm length. The measurement results are displayed on a clear analog gauge, and an acoustic signal sounds. To remain discreet, simply connect headphones to the 3.5mm jack.
Search depths (approx.):
- Small objects, e.g., coins: up to 20 cm
- Medium objects, e.g., a pistol: up to 40 cm
- Large objects, e.g., knight's armor: up to 80 cm
- Very large objects, e.g., a tank: up to 160 cm
Detector features:
- Emits sound signals when an object is found - a quieter tone for iron alloys and a louder tone for non-ferrous metals.
- It has an analog scale that indicates the signal level. "Low Bat" light.
