The attractant is so strong that the ants crawl into the can, absorb the active ingredient, and carry it back to the nest. Effect: The active ingredient sodium cacodylate is a stomach poison. The attractant of the ant bait is so effective that the ants crawl into the Matil ant trap can, absorb the active ingredient, and carry it back to the nest. By feeding it to their brood, they also eliminate the larvae. Within 10 days, the ant nest is completely destroyed.
