Product details

The Lumonite Releasy helmet mount is a revolutionary tool that allows modern and efficient headlamps to be attached to a safety helmet effortlessly and in full compliance with regulations. With its ingenious quick-release feature, the lamp can be securely attached to the helmet simply by pushing it firmly into the mount. When the lamp is not needed, it can be just as easily removed from the helmet.

The mounting part for the lamp is made of sturdy yet sufficiently flexible metal, which holds the Compass Mini series lamp securely. No Lumonite lamp will fall off by itself, but can be easily detached if desired. The new V2 model also includes a safety rubber loop, providing assurance that the lamp will not fall off, for example, when bumping the helmet. This makes the mount suitable for situations where dropping cannot be an option, such as high places, food factories, or mine shafts.

The mount weighs 32 grams, making it unnecessary to remove it from the helmet due to weight when the lamp is not needed. The mount itself is attached to the helmet with two blunt mounting screws, with a suitable mini-size hex key conveniently stored inside the mount's frame.

The mount fits perfectly with all Lumonite Compass and Compass Mini series lamps. As Lumonite headbands also utilize the Releasy function, integrating a headlamp and helmet lamp is completely seamless.
