The kwb Forstner Bit Speed is a highly advanced tool specifically designed for precise woodworking. With a diameter of 40 mm, this bit allows for the creation of clean and tear-free holes in various types of wood, including hardwood, softwood, as well as coated particle board and MDF. The bit is made from hardened special steel and features a forged drill head with a patented precise wave grind. This construction ensures optimal sharpness and hardness of the cutting edges, resulting in extremely precise cuts. The integrated centering tip facilitates the positioning of the bit and minimizes sliding friction, thereby reducing heat generation during the drilling process. The kwb Forstner Bit Speed is suitable for all common drill and impact drill machines with a chuck diameter of 10 or 13 mm and offers three times the service life compared to conventional Forstner bits.
