In contrast to conventional drum heaters, metal drums are heated from the base with the high-temperature drum base heater (the maximum temperature may vary due to the maximum permissible temperature of the liquids).

This type of high-temperature drum base heater has a diameter of 550 mm. It can therefore be used for standard drums up to 200-220 litres.

The high-temperature drum heater has an in-built thermostat for the range 50 to 300°C. The thermostat ensures the set temperature and is very easy to operate.

If the heating process is to be faster than the drum base heater alone can guarantee, it can be easily combined with a conventional drum heater.

Drum bottom heaters are suitable for heating many different liquids, e.g. water, resin, oil, diesel and many other industrial liquids.
