Kreul Glass & Porcelain

Vases, cups, and etageres - creative people can't have enough glass and porcelain. Styles are mixed, sizes combined, and effects deliberately staged. Colors set the tone. The influence of soft styles is also noticeable in the kitchen, where matte painted vessels meet brilliantly luminous motifs.

To achieve brilliance, use Kreul Glass & Porcelain Classic: a brilliant glass and porcelain paint that resembles glazed ceramics. It is opaque and glossy-smooth, fast drying, and lightfast. This water-based paint becomes waterproof, dishwasher-safe, and saliva-proof after baking. At least 60% of the colors are made from sustainable raw materials of natural origin.

This paint is suitable for heat-resistant materials such as porcelain, glass, ceramics, terracotta, and metal; it also adheres to non-heat-resistant materials like acrylic glass, mirrors, and many plastics. Only paint surfaces that do not come into contact with food. After a drying time of 4 hours, bake at 160 °C in a non-preheated oven for 90 minutes. Apply the paint with a soft human hair brush.

Tips for application: The object must be heat-resistant, clean, grease-free, and smooth. Do not paint utilitarian and eating areas, such as drinking rims or inner surfaces of cups and glasses, as well as cut surfaces of plates that come into contact with food. Do not dilute colors with water; instead, use Kreul Glass & Porcelain paint thinner. As long as the painting is not baked, it can be removed with water.

Place the painted object in a cold oven. When the temperature reaches 160 °C, bake the painting for 90 minutes. Leave to cool and harden in the oven. In combination with Porcelain+GlassPen Glitter and Glass ColorPen color application, bake at 160 °C for 30 minutes. Painting is conditionally dishwasher safe.
