The KUB Pentron® indexable insert drill with ABS® shank from Komet is a high-precision tool designed for demanding drilling applications. With a diameter of 15.5 millimeters, this drill offers excellent performance when machining materials. Its special design allows for high stability and precision, especially under stable machine conditions. The drill is compatible with indexable inserts from serial numbers 236605 to 236610, enabling flexible adaptation to various machining requirements. The ABS® shank version ensures improved handling and optimal power transmission during the drilling process. Additionally, the drill is available in various lengths to meet different application needs. The capability for off-axis drilling up to a maximum offset of 0.25 mm significantly expands the tool's range of applications.

  • Drilling tolerance of D − 0.1 / + 0.35 mm for precise results
  • Maximum diameter achievable through adjustment up to D + 0.5 mm
  • Suitable for centering mandrels with a point angle of 180 degrees
  • Available in 2×D and 3×D versions upon request.
