BRILLANT synthetic resin enamel varnish is a long oil, high gloss and slightly thixotropic alkyd resin varnish with very good processing properties such as flow, stability and open time. It produces extremely filling, elastic, shock and impact resistant lacquers with a high covering power and good edge coverage. BRILLANT has excellent light and weather resistance and offers good gloss stability.

Field of application
For high-quality surface protection on wood and metal indoors and outdoors, such as doors, windows, chairs, cupboards, furniture, railings, panelling, soffits, etc.

Pretreatment
The substrate must be clean, dry (not more than 15 % wood moisture), and free from sanding dust, oil, wax and other contaminants. Sand old coats or leach with SE-1 leach powder. Intermediate sanding with grit 180-220 can be carried out. Do not process at temperatures below 8°C.

Drying
♦ Dust dry after about 3 hours
♦ Hand dry after about 6 hours
♦ Reconditionable after 12 hours
♦ Fully dried after 1-2 days
(depending on temperature, humidity and layer thickness)
